Jake our ‘soundie’ on the phone after we finished today:
“Yeah. It went well. Kath just did the Snoop Dogg shout out to me. You know, the chest thump and the peace sign? I feel real down on the shizzle fo dizzle mizzle.”
I’m not sure if ‘shizzle fo dizzle mizzle’ is spelt like that but I prefer not to google it. It would be a shame to find out that in fact I wasn’t allowed to use six zees today.
Thanks Jake!

Stumbled across Adelaide’s Wednesday night comedy room in the city. Check out the cool picture on the wall!

Not sure if it’s Funi or Wang Wang making a great escape from the Adelaide Airport giftshop. But I thought it was Funi / funny. Har har.

Postscript: If this made you smile, may I recommend a Fringe comedy show called Kath on a Hot Tin Roof at the Adelaide Fringe? Sydney comedian Kathryn Bendall guarantees 50 minutes of pure comedy, storytelling, and hypochondria, and doesn’t make a single panda joke…
This was posted by her producer Jen who pretty much has the medical condition witzelshtuch (a morbid tendency to pun), one of the few things Kathryn doesn’t have (although I’ve been told to add that she hasn’t ruled it out).
What’s your best/worst panda pun?
Send yours in and the best of the day wins a double pass to Kath on a Hot Tin Roof at The Austral Hotel!

Browsing ABC online and found this article about Fringe fever in Adelaide, where festival director Paul Grabowsky says,
“The place is pumping. If you just landed in Adelaide and looked around at all the stuff happening here, you would think you’d arrived in New York.”
Can’t wait to get there tomorrow and meet Kathryn for a tech run and a hot dawg.
