Great news! I’ve just found out (any you’re the first to know) that I’ve been bestowed a HUGE honour at the Adelaide Fringe. Already!
The lovely media people from Adelaide Fringe told me that with Kath on a Hot Tin Roof, I’m the oldest comic to debut at the Fringe. Which is great, because stand-up comedy comedy is the only thing that makes your bottom age at twice the rate of your face, which makes my derriere older than the last living ANZAC. I’m 59, which makes my bottom 118. I can now claim that I have the oldest toosh in the world.
Off to call the Guinness Book of Records,

As champions of the ageing workforce, we are thrilled to support the ‘oldest comic to debut at the Fringe’. Amidst all the media hoo ha of the intergenerational report, Kath is one chick who has proved that you really can reinvent yourself. Who needs government grants to retrain? Just sheer desperation and a big bucket list will do it!
